Careways as its name suggests, is a caring multi-racial organization that reaches out to the intellectually impaired Adult:


Mission statement: Careways is dedicated to providing a caring home from home environment , to a wide spectrum of intellectually impaired adults, of all races. Careways undertakes to care for the members in a meaningful and productive way.

Vision: To offer stability and predictability in the lives of its members through comprehensive full time daycare and residential care services

Background: Careways was established in 1997 by a group of concerned parents of intellectually impaired children to provide facilites for adults within the community. in 2000, Careways was registered as a fully fledged non profit. In 2004, the Siyanakekela Centre was started.

Today we celebrate 28 years of making a difference.

Night Markets

During July we hold a second chances sales, where various items such as clothing, household items, garage items, furniture etc is sold to the community raising much needed funds

In the winter, we hold a night market at the town hall where various crafters can display their wares for sale and even our own goods are sold here. Food & drinks also available

Join us for a ladies breakfast as advertised on social media yearly.
